Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, the Clinical Project Manager implements, monitors and supports initiatives and strategies within nursing operations and patient care services.
The manager will implement strategies meant to assist the unit(s) in meeting critical goals and objectives in the most efficient manner possible. The manager will oversee project timelines, resources, and efficiencies for designated nursing operations and strategies. Responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle: planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery. Tracks progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators, and prepares reports to senior management. Assists with the selection, negotiation, and managing of all activities regarding external consultants or vendors.
This role may include administering recurring or daily functions or processes necessary for business execution and will identify opportunities for improvement. The manager will evaluate and recommend changes to policies or procedures.
The manager works collaboratively with the Directors of Nursing and Clinical Managers to ensure effective operations and support ongoing needs and can construct alternative positive problem resolutions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operational Management, or Finance or related field. Master's Degree in related field required.
- Knowledge of business administrative functions including budget, organizational development, management, cost analysis, operations analysis and project management.
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Certification, required.
Required Length and Type of Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field required.
- Must have strong computer skills and knowledge of various software systems including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access) or other spreadsheet and database management methods to assure appropriate support of business functions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of applied statistics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and technical writing skills.
