What You'll Do

We're seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our dynamic product team focused on decarbonizing manufacturing and the built environment. While the role emphasizes backend and data engineering due to our data-centric approach, you will occasionally own full feature development cycles and collaborate closely with peers.

As one of the early team members, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our technical strategy, architecture, and product development. This hands-on position demands creative problem-solving skills, deep technical expertise, and a passion for driving innovation in the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with founders, designers, and engineers to define, architect, and implement new features.
  • Explore and integrate novel tools and technologies like LLM for improved products and processes.
  • Ensure application security and integrity through robust coding practices and adherence to standards.
  • Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and implement automated testing frameworks.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack for optimal performance and scalability.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members.

Who This Role Is For
  • Experience: 4+ years in fullstack development, including at least 1 year at an early-stage startup.
  • Skills: Proficiency in writing clean, efficient code and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Environment: Thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Technical Requirements:
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., Postgres).
  • Proficiency in React for front-end development; experience with Material UI customization preferred.
  • Familiarity with FastAPI; Flask or Django experience is acceptable.
  • Bonus points for experience with SQLAlchemy and designing AWS cloud architectures.

If you're passionate about leveraging technology to drive sustainability in manufacturing and are excited about joining a high-impact, innovative team, we encourage you to apply using the link above. We look forward to hearing from you!
