2HB Incorporated is seeking a Web Developer in order to support its government customer in Herndon, VA. The United States Government (USG) delivers human capital management technologies and services to the workforce, including data analytics that enable business decisions. The USG seeks to build an integrated enterprise IT support model to drive efficiencies in the talent space and better address strategic requirements associated with learning, training compliances, foreign language development and retention, job advertisements, selection, and performance. The development and successful implementation of this model requires experience with multiple IT skill sets, including project management, systems engineering and architecture, Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) integration and configuration, application design and development, enhancement, transformation, security risk management, certification and accreditation, system and database administration, testing, service management, and operations and maintenance (O&M).

Work Requirements:
User Interface (UI)/User Experience (UX) Support - HRR: NO
- The Candidate shall work core hours from 0900 hours to 1500 hours.
- The Candidate shall follow an Agile methodology for software development.
- The Candidate shall gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with Sponsor Product Owners and managers and the Development Team.
- The Candidate shall illustrate design ideas using storyboards, wireframes, process flows, and sitemaps.
- The Candidate shall develop User Interface (UI) mockups/wire diagrams and prototypes that clearly illustrate system functionality, look and feel, while incorporating high accessibility and user experience (UX).
- The Candidate shall present rough drafts, site maps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to Sponsor teams.
- The Candidate shall identify and troubleshoot UX problems
- The Candidate shall support the implementation of a security, development, and operations (SecDevOps) plan, with roles, for adoption by all Sponsor applications.
- The Candidate shall follow the Sponsor's document management plan that addresses documents
required for all Sponsor applications and systems, their storage locations and versioning requirements. - The Candidate shall follow the Sponsor's service management plan, documenting Sponsor's tiered support for all applications and systems.
- The Candidate shall support the implementation of a reference architecture for adoption by all Sponsor applications and systems.
Required Skills and Demonstrated Experience:
The Contractor shall have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience:
- Demonstrated experience implementing industry best practices of user experience design and
associated technical solutions consistent with accessibility standards and agile methodology. - Demonstrated experience providing solutions that facilitate end-to-end process execution and increase to automation and advanced analytics.
- Demonstrated experience working with Java and ServiceNow developers to articulate material
design with front end components such as Angular and React. - Demonstrated experience using UX/UI technologies such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator,
Adobe XD, Bootstrap, CSS3 and HTML5. - Demonstrated experience proposing recommendations that provide business value while supporting Customer goals and objectives, with an emphasis on improving User Experience/User Interface (UX/UI), reducing O&M, increasing quality and speed of delivery, transforming, and modernizing web-based application, system, and service components.
- Demonstrated experience in analyzing and documenting web-based application, system, and service components and associated interfaces, including those with databases and web services/APIs to assist in decision-making regarding future development.
