Position Overview

The Master Data Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing master data across various systems within the organization, with a particular focus on the ERP NetSuite system. This role is pivotal in ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility, supporting key business processes and decision-making. The Master Data Manager will work extensively with product and inventory data to ensure seamless operations and data integrity. As the organization evolves, the Master Data Manager will continue to play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing data management practices across the enterprise.

Responsibilities
  • Master Data Management (MDM): Oversee the development, improvement, and maintenance of a Master Data Map and implementation plans for MDM within the organization.
  • Product and Inventory Data Management: Manage product and inventory data, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Data Definition: Review and define data across disparate systems.
  • Data Standards: Develop and implement standards for data structure to ensure consistency, completeness, and accuracy.
  • Database Management: Maintain database security, integrity, reliability, and availability; monitor performance and capacity requirements.
  • Training and Development: Train and provide clear direction and guidance to staff in support of professional learning and data management best practices.
  • Technology Integration: Collaborate with relevant departments to support applications, including data import/export, syncing, processing, analyzing, and reporting.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure data integrity related to inventory levels, product availability, and related metrics.
  • Business Process Optimization: Drive process improvements and optimize business processes through effective data management.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in NetSuite (or other ERP) Development, Consultancy, or Engineering is required.
  • Certifications: Preferred certifications in one or more of the following:
  • NetSuite Administrator Certification
  • NetSuite ERP Consultant Certification
  • SuiteCloud Developer II Certification
  • Oracle Database PL/SQL Developer Certified Professional
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
  • Oracle Database Administrator Certified Master
  • Technical Skills: Coding in SuiteScript or JavaScript/TypeScript is highly desired; Python or PHP coding is a plus.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP systems
  • Advanced knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS)
  • Experience with managing product and inventory data
  • Advanced skills in critical thinking, collaboration, logical reasoning, planning, and organizing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, assertiveness, attention to detail, and perseverance

Salary Range: $100,000 - $115,000 USD

This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
