Description:
MPU is seeking Power Plant Manager applicants with a strong background in power plant operations.
The primary responsibility of this role is the ability to implement strategic initiatives and to achieve desired results aligned with the organizational mission, vision, values, and fundamental areas of focus through a collaborative role on the Leadership Team.
This role is responsible for electric power and steam production through proper operation and maintenance of the electrical power plant. Supervision is exercised over production and maintenance activities within the power plant. The Power Plant Manager is also responsible for maintaining maximum operating efficiency of personnel and equipment in the power production plant.
Examples of Duties and Responsibilities:
Communicate and support organizational positions and goals with employees.
Collaboratively perform strategic planning.
Direct the operation and maintenance of all electrical production facilities.
Oversee operation of the power plant and facilities within regulatory requirements.
Support and promote a strong power plant safety culture.

Pay Rate: $125,000-$157,000 annually
