Description

PingWind is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a Network Administrator, will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure. This role involves ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of network systems and services. The Network Administrator also leads network-related projects, troubleshoots complex issues, and provides guidance to junior network staff.

Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable network solutions.
Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software.
Develop and implement network policies and procedures to ensure optimal performance and security.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Perform regular network maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and backups.
Manage network access control and security measures to protect against unauthorized access and threats.
Lead network-related projects, from planning and design to implementation and evaluation.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure project success.
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and track progress against milestones.
Implement and manage network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Provide training and support to junior network administrators and IT staff.
Develop and deliver user training programs to ensure effective use of network resources.
Manage relationships with network service providers and hardware/software vendors.
Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures.
Proficiency in network management and monitoring tools.
In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and firewall configurations.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in technology, Computer Science, or a related field, Relevant certifications in configuration management, such as CMII certification, or ITIL Foundation certification
