About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Production Support Engineer with application monintoring experience to join us. Experience with Splunk, AppDynamics or other monitoring tools is required.

This position will be hybrid and requires the resource be onsite in Indianapolis three days a week. This is a 3 - 4 month project with potential for extension.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert support for customers utilizing monitoring and analytics for web and mobile applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to deployments and configurations.
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize tool implementations for efficient data analysis.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, knowledge base articles, documentation specific to application support.
  • Stay abreast of Splunk updates and industry best practices for effective monitoring.
  • Monitoring and Analytics of Web Apps.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve tickets with deployment and configurations.
  • Develop dasbhoards, knowledge base articles, and documentation for support, Splunk knowledge


Qualifications

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:
  • Proficient in Splunk, AppDynamics or other monitoring tools with hands-on experience in configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Solid understanding of log management, data indexing, and visualization.
  • Experience in customer support or technical troubleshooting roles.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
  • Ability to independently analyze and resolve complex issues.

Additional Requirements (Desirable):
  • Splunk certifications (e.g., Splunk Certified User, Splunk Certified Power User).
  • Scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
  • Unix, SQL, mobile and/or web dev background.
  • MuleSoft experience.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, security, and application performance monitoring.
  • AWS, Kubernetes, ECS experience.
  • Multitasking and flexibility in adapting to shifting priorities
  • ITIL familiarity or certification
