We are looking to hire a Director of Clinical Education Integration with excellent organizational and administrative skills. The Director of Clinical Education Integration is expected to be a leader in all matters of clinical education. The Director of Clinical Education Integration will need superb time management and record keeping skills. To ensure success, the Director of Clinical Education Integration should be confident and professional with exceptional communication and technology skills that will contribute to the efficient day-to-day activities of the academic team. Top candidates will work comfortably under pressure while completing tasks in a fast-paced environment and can effectively react to emergent situations. The Director of Clinical Education Integration will work closely with Clinical Site Coordinators, the Undergraduate Program Directors and Chairs, Course Leads, the Associate Dean of Academic Practice Integration and JCN Business Planning and Human Capital Management. This is a staff position and the Director of Clinical Education Integration will be evaluated annually by the Associate Dean of Academic Practice Integration

Position Responsibilities (includes but not limited to) :
  • Secures placement and management of adjunct clinical educators via collaboration with administration, faculty and staff.
  • Leads onboarding of clinical educators.
  • Analyzes adjunct instructor evaluation data and collaborates with Program Directors and Chairs to address results that do not meet JCN benchmarks.
  • Cultivates continuing education opportunities for all adjunct clinical educators.
  • Serves as the primary contact between clinical educators, JCN faculty and administration and clinical site on routine matters concerning clinical teaching.
  • Leads the standardization of efficient operations of clinical education across campuses.
  • Leads all aspects of JCN clinical orientation and readiness for students and clinical faculty.

  • M a n a g e s int er n a l d a t a b a s e s a nd d a ta s e ts f or a ll s t ud e nt pl ace m e nts a nd c o o r din a t e s re qui re d r e po r ting w ith int er n a l a nd e x t er n a l r e g u l a to r y bodi e s.
  • Supports the College of Nursing mission through the organization and deployment of clinical education.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Master's degree preparation in nursing and/or education from an accredited college or university .
  • Knowledge of clinical environment and operations.
  • Preferred certification in nursing education or post-graduate certificate in nursing education.
