Job Summary

The Renal Dialysis Program Coordinator is responsible to the Director of Critical Care in accordance
with all of the Hospital Policies and Procedures. In addition, the Coordinator shall operate the acute
Renal Dialysis program in compliance with all applicable governmental laws and regulations and in
accordance with all applicable standards and recommendations of the Joint Commission on
Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). The Renal Dialysis Coordinator is responsible for
activities under Job DutiesServes as a clinical resource and liaison for patients and their families and assists with navigating all aspects of the healthcare system. Provides clinical education in regards to treatment and liaisons with the patients clinical service providers to address specific concerns. May have in-depth specialty expertise and focus.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $94,400 - $160,500 (Annual Rate).

Required Qualifications

  • Must have 2 years acute renal dialysis experience and 1 year of ICU/CCU experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years combined experience in healthcare industry
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field or equivalent professional experience
  • Ability to read and speak English clearly and be understood.


License/Certification

  • Active Nursing in the State of Cailfornia
  • American Heart Association CPR/BLS
