Role Overview: As a Lead Technical Program Manager, you will play a critical role in leading the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical programs and initiatives within the engineering organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, security, infrastructure, product management, operations, and quality assurance, to drive alignment and ensure successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end program management lifecycle, from initiation through delivery and post-launch support, for initiatives ranging from tactical short-term execution areas to multi-year, cross-platform initiatives.
- Lead the program management team, implementing measurable, repeatable processes and systems for technical program management.
- Support Kaseya's engineering & operations leadership teams, implementing programs that drive success on critical, timely initiatives that require instant and successful collaboration.
- Drive the execution of strategic programs, including budgeting, task prioritization and timeline management, to ensure on-time delivery.
- Identify and mitigate risks and impediments that impacting program delivery and implement effective mitigation strategies. Build a learning organization that adapts to changing business and technical requirements.
- Set the example for excellent communication and collaboration across the organization, ensuring alignment, accountability, and progress.
- Know how to use AI & Automation to make the job easier for your team and for the company. Optimize, relentlessly. Don't settle for the first answer.
- Provide leadership, technical mentorship, and execution guidance to the team. Join the engineering team to become a champion of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or 8+ years' equivalent experience is required.
- 3+ years' experience in technical program management roles is required, preferably in the SaaS industry, with a track record of successfully delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
- This role requires a solid technical foundation with a deep understanding of SDLC, security fundamentals, compliance management, cloud computing technologies, and software development methodologies.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) is required.
- Leadership experience combined with strong communication skills, with the ability to work across all layers of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results in a fast-moving, always-online global workforce, with a focus on innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- PMP or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
- Proven ability to thrive in ambiguity and navigate complex challenges with creativity, resilience, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
