Physician: Pathologist in Saginaw, Michigan

Summary

Seeking an eager and dedicated full time BC/BC pathologist. 35 to 50 cases read per day, split between 2 pathologists.

Responsibilities

Position Highlights
Assist in the preparation and performance of human tissue examinations
Complete dissection provide description of certain surgical cases daily
Selects and submits appropriate sections for routine microscopic examinations, frozen sections, etc.
Covers clinical laboratory, including blood bank
Supports surgical department for select procedures
Surgical pathology, GI pathology, GU pathology, neuropathology, dermatopathology, hematopathology, cytology (No GYN cytology specimen)

Certifications and Licensures
AP/CP certified pathologist
Active State of Michigan License or eligible to apply

Required Education
Successful completion of an ACGME approved residency
