Roles and Responsibilities
Assign work and oversee activities of planning personnel
Local S&OP
o Responsible for the Load & Capacity analysis - performed monthly on the 5 years planning horizon
o Oversee the Production Plan and adjust it in the 5 years planning horizon based on manufacturing strategies and constraints (capacity, component shortages)
MPS
o Oversee the Master Production Schedule - make decision to maximize On Time Delivery and Inventory management
o Manage daily/weekly load vs capacity adjustment
o Oversee the execution of the production planning and interface with production, quality and engineering to correct deviations
Detail Scheduling
o Oversee the creation on time, on quality of the work orders
o Oversee the proper execution of the work orders (errors, lead-times...)
Responsible for the inventory (VEX)
o Manage inventory analysis and reporting
o Manage inventory accuracy for manufactured products
Build positive employee relationships based on defined measurable goals, open communication, and participative management
Lead continuous improvement via lean techniques, conduct change project, know and deploy the industry process standards
Collaborate with appropriate division or departments to investigate and resolve complex concerns in timely manner
Manage Interhub process
Manage ERP data (SAP, APO ...)
Perform other related duties as required
Physical/Environmental Scope of Position
Sit for long periods of time while operating office equipment
Vocal communication, hearing, and visual acuity are required for safety, direction, and the exchange of ideas in the industrial environment
Subjected to inside environmental conditions, noise, vibration, oils and other related industrial hazards
Work in/near electro-magnetic fields created by high temperature induction furnaces
Perform duties requiring kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 20 pounds periodically

Candidate skills & requirements
Bachelor of Science degree in a related technical field or engineering preferred
Three to five years of experience in a production planning or material management function required, supervisory experienced preferred
APICS certification desirable
Strong computer skills that include Microsoft Office and other traceability /planning software
SAP experience within the materials function strongly preferred
