Responsible for coordinating planning, development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of all Flint Community School District grants, including Title I, II, III, IV, and other state, federal, and local grants. Additionally, supervises MTSS and mental health staff providing direct services/interventions to general education students at risk due to high referral and suspension/expulsion rates. The Director will ensure alignment of programs with strategic goals and provide leadership to promote educational improvement through effective grant and MTSS management.

Salary & Benefits:
Central Office Salary Schedule: $97,135 (Salary Negotiable - Based on Education and Experince)
Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance. Employees shall be subject to the co-payment of health care costs equal to the difference between the premium cost and the annual cost limitation imposed on public employers.
Education:
NOTE: Pursuant to MCL [redacted] subsection (3), a person employed as a school administrator, after January 4, 2010, will have six months to enroll in a program leading to certification as a school administrator and three years to meet certification requirements.
A valid MDE School Administrator Permit must be maintained during the three years leading to certification.
Experience:

Education:
- Master's Degree required in business, accounting, public administration, educational administration, social work, or a related field.
- Administrative Certification Required

Experience:
- Administrative experience in a school district is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in federal and state grant writing preferred.
- Experience in public school settings or related agencies with expertise in PBIS/MTSS, Restorative Justice, trauma diagnosis and treatment, 504 plans, and working with at-risk students. Previous experience in Collaborative Evaluation Teams.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience with state and federal programs required.
- Administrative experience in a school district is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in federal and state grant writing preferred.
