SUMMARY: The Plant Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of recruitment, employment law compliance, corporate culture, office management, and employee relations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support on all HR activities including, but not limited to, employment law, company policies and procedures, terms and conditions of employment, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Build and maintain a high-performance culture through performance management processes, goal setting, performance improvement plans, and coaching.
  • Manage disciplinary and grievance matters and probationary reviews in conjunction with managers.
  • Conduct new employee orientations, employee relations counseling, and exit interviewing.
  • Establish and maintain department records and reports, physical and electronic.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of all team member complaints; provide follow-up to the Division HR managers and other department heads regarding complaint issues. Maintain a written record of all complaints. Ensure that the electronic spreadsheet log for peer review/grievances is updated and current at all times.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will have supervisory responsibility.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of Human Resources experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
