Summary:

The Associate Manager, Accounting position reports to the Manager, Accounting in Corporate Accounting and is a member of the Record-to-Report General Ledger team. This role leads technical accounting application globally and supports the BlackLine application for North America and the Parent Company.

This is an onsite in Racine, WI.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Review BlackLine balance sheet account reconciliations for North America and HQ, serve as the back-up Local Admin for the North America region, and serve as project manager for future BlackLine initiatives
  • Maintenance of and/or provide guidance on all Global Finance Policies
  • Budget Global Risk Management insurance expense; consolidate global budget for Special Items
  • Liaison for Global Internal Audit for management of SOAR control frameworks
  • Partner with team members from Corporate Tax, Corporate Treasury, Shared Service Centers, Global Internal Audit and/or Business Unit Finance to troubleshoot and ensure proper accounting treatment
  • Perform accounting research and document accounting position papers on key accounting pronouncements
  • Monitor external accounting news and guidance to understand how upcoming or anticipated changes to accounting standards may impact SCJ


Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 6+ years of relevant experience required


Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:
  • Demonstrates initiative with a strong attention to detail and well organized
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with all levels of the finance organization
  • Ability to summarize financial data clearly and concisely to enable speed and quality of decision making
  • Prior experience with SAP and BPC preferred. Specific SAP hierarchy and navigation experience is a plus.
