Business Development Director

The Business Development Director role is a rewarding opportunity to lead a well-established Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning firm in their expansion and growth in domestic and international markets.
Your responsibilities will include: building, maintaining and expanding existing relationships; growing client base and market share in current and future markets; pursuing opportunities in public and private sectors.

Requirements:

• Strong business development skills, including significant experience building and maintaining revenue generating relationships
• Effectively communicate and give presentations about services with professionalism, expert knowledge, and passion
• Participate on capture team as a strategist and reviewer on all pursuits with clients
• Develop and maintain revenue-generating client and business relationships
• Leads with an entrepreneurial spirit, seeking change and embracing innovation, service and continuous improvement
• be responsible for managing marketing and customer service activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor and/or Master of Architecture degree or related degree(s) plus industry experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of client development experience required.
• Architecture/Engineering/Construction (AEC) industry Business Development experience and proven track record of developing strong client relationships and growing client accounts.
• Outstanding presentation, communication and team building skills are required.
• Strategic planning and market research skills and experience are preferred.
