POSITION SUMMARY:
The Facilities Manager reports to the Director of Facilities in performing a wide range of tasks and duties to ensure that buildings meet the safety and operational needs of the Mygrant Glass Company employees who work within them. The individual in this position is responsible for the scheduling and supervision of maintenance and repair activities, contracted services, and custodial services, and ensuring the physical operation of the company meets budgetary and strategic objectives.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position requires close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; Ability to perceive the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and making fine discriminations in sound; Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Must be able to remain in a stationary position and/or upright, for prolonged periods of time, traverse stairs, reach overhead, squat, bend, kneel, stoop, and crouch occasionally during 8-10-hour work shift.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Facilities Manager reports to the Director of Facilities in performing a wide range of tasks and duties to ensure that buildings meet the safety and operational needs of the Mygrant Glass Company employees who work within them. The individual in this position is responsible for the scheduling and supervision of maintenance and repair activities, contracted services, and custodial services, and ensuring the physical operation of the company meets budgetary and strategic objectives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Administer and manage the facility maintenance requests. Receive maintenance requests from the Mygrant team members and ensure all service requests are recorded into the software platform and tracked through completion. Work to prioritize each service request and effectively and efficiently manage requests.
- Directs, schedules, and oversees external contractors (electricians, plumbers, excavators, roofers, painters, landscapers, etc.). Responsible for timely communications with all stakeholders and interfacing with property vendors and contractors to ensure prompt response to maintenance issues.
- Responsible for safety and security, electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, ventilation and related services of Mygrant buildings.
- Orders equipment and supplies and monitors inventory; makes requests for capital outlay expenditures as needed.
- Develops, implements, and supervises preventative maintenance and renovation programs for buildings, grounds, mechanical and electrical, utility, and safety and security systems.
- Track vendor agreements and compliance for Fire Protection & Monitoring, Landscaping, Snow Removal, HVAC, Janitorial, and Maintenance. Advise business partners of upcoming expirations or renewals.
- Manage annual calendar by property for Preventative Maintenance, Annual Inspections and Annual Certifications, HVAC, Fire, and Backflows.
- Maintain portfolio emergency contact information, including tenant and vendor information, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information and coordinating timely updates to the vendor database.
- Contributes to strategic planning by evaluating and projecting future facility needs and proposing options to achieve them.
- Provide support and assist with the annual budgeting process.
- Assist in tracking vendor insurance compliance and expiration of insurance.
- Work with MGC Facilities Director to ensure lease renewals are completed on time.
- Manage Raymond iWarehouse program to ensure that the program is administered for all branches.
- Assist the Facilities Director with all racking projects for Mygrant Glass.
- Manage MHE database to ensure accuracy and develop tracking, ordering, and approval of assets.
- Additional duties as assigned.

- Demonstrated understanding of lease documents and contracts
- Strong working knowledge of Mygrant operations preferred
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Experience working with a wide variety of software programs
- Strong Excel skills
