Technical Program/Product Manager - Cloud Services

We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager, Cloud Services to lead projects related to Lucid cloud services and integration with enterprise and 3rd party applications. You will execute requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate clearly with project stakeholders to all levels at Lucid. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment

The Role:

• Manage cloud services programs, defining milestones and success criteria, resource allocation and successful on-time delivery.
• Exercise technical judgment in working with large, cross-functional teams.
• Communicate schedules, priorities, and status to all levels in the company
• Define and execute long-term roadmaps for both single-team and cross-functional efforts related to embedded projects.
• Define high- and low-level requirements and document them by working with cross functional teams
• Facilitates daily stand-up, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective
• Understand technical implementation at the architectural level and propose technical alternatives when necessary; ask questions that clarify priorities and push the team to be effective.
• Influence technical decisions in working with large, cross-functional teams.
• Interface with engineering managers and engineers to estimate work efforts, define milestones and manage resources.
• Collaborate and enable engineers in execution and cross functional dependencies
• Track progress, resolve dependencies, evaluate risks and communicate status to upper management and project stakeholders, and engage and energize the project teams to achieve aggressive goals
• Remove obstacles to drive momentum and progress, identify gaps in communication or schedule, manage issue escalations and provide support to teams balancing competing priorities, and drive results proactively.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in the areas of Computer Science, Computer engineering, Electrical engineering or other related technical fields.
• 3+ years of experience in Program Management on technical cross-functional projects.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud/micro services and backend infrastructure integrations.
• Experience managing execution and high-quality product delivery.
• Ability to exercise technical judgment in solving software engineering challenges.
• Ability to be an influential member of a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members.
• Knowledge of technical architectures, computer science, and software development lifecycle.
• Proven track-record of taking ownership and driving results across business units
• Expert knowledge of Atlassian Jira, Confluence and project management tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in computer science or similar technical field.
• Experience in developing micro services and backend integrations on AWS and OCI
• Understanding of cloud systems, MQTT protocol and vehicle to cloud
• Prior experience of working in automobile companies and understanding of vehicle architecture and communication is a plus
• Thrives in a highly collaborative, fast paced environment

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid's equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)

Base Pay Range (Annual)

$135,300-$186,010 USD
