PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Formulated Solutions is looking for a driven experienced Sales Manager. The Sales Manager will target, develop and build relationships with existing and new customers to profitably grow the company. He or she will work collaboratively across the organization to ensure customer satisfaction. Success in this role will be determined by meeting or exceeding sales and customer satisfaction targets.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Ensure measurement and communication of sales to target.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
  • Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes.
  • Receive prepare and work through customer specific RFI and RFQ processes.
  • Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.
  • Promote positive relations with partners through interaction.
  • Collaboratively working with the organization to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes, or returns.
  • Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and issue resolution.
  • Maintain customer files as well work within CRM (Netsuite) tool
  • Always present a professional image to customers and vendors.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Education / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related discipline.
  • 7+ years of direct sales experience, including experience with a CDMO, CPG, or Health Care organization.
  • Experience working within a CRM to track progress.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, including word, excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint.

  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
  • Team oriented with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to travel 50%+ of time to customer and company sites.
  • Experience selling in the beauty, health care, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
