Who We're Looking For:

We're seeking a motivated Compliance Manager with 5 years' experience to oversee all aspects of compliance and economic inclusivity objectives. The Compliance Manager will report to the Sr. Director of Contracts and Compliance. The Compliance Manager will be supported by a Compliance Specialist.

The Compliance Manager will track and support on-going efforts to achieve corporate business diversity goals established by the Project Control department.

Our Compliance Manager has strong organization and communication skills; is detail-oriented; is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; has the ability to work swiftly and accurately through various small office projects, excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work. Competence in job skills and knowledge is also required. Successful candidates will be able to share their passion for and dedication to getting the job done and confidently represent the firm.

What You'll Do:

Our Compliance Manager will ensure labor compliance and communicate any issues along with corrective action plans to the Project Management team. The Compliance Manager ensures projects are using the correct wage determination, subcontractors are classifying workers correctly, subcontractors are submitting certified payroll. The Compliance Manager is also responsible for developing programs that comply with local hiring requirements, DC First Source, including all monitoring and reporting, assisting with recruitment and placement of target employees, ensuring economic inclusivity compliance, and communicating any issues along with remediation plans to the Project Management team.

The Compliance Manager will ensure economic development compliance by identifying project requirements and develop/communicate a plan to the preconstruction team, prepare subcontracting plans, prepare and submit quarterly/monthly reports, close out projects with authorities having jurisdiction, and identify new targeted entities to work with MCN.

Qualifications
  • Possess a minimum of five (5) year of experience of cradle to grave labor and/or economic inclusivity experience,
  • Experience using various reporting mechanisms (LCP, B2G, etc.)
  • Experience in the construction industry is preferred,
  • Strong organization and communication skills; detail-oriented and conscientious,
  • Good typing skills; Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite,
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work is necessary.
  • Competent in required job skills and knowledge.

What We Offer:
  • Salary range $80,000 to $90,000, and up to 10% in an annual discretionary bonus.
