Position Summary: Responsible for all revenue cycle functions performed in the faculty practice through collaboration and communication with physicians, staff, and billing services to ensure efficient and effective operations. Manages the staff and operations of the faculty practice, evaluating operational needs and providing recommendations to continually improve performance against budget, and standards.
Tasks Include but are Not Limited to:
Qualifications/Requirements Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field Education/Knowledge
Education Discipline: Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or related field.
Experience: 3-5 years
Tasks Include but are Not Limited to:
- Interviews, selects, orients, trains, and counsels personnel. Implements and processes all Human Resource changes and requests as necessary.
- Assists and orients new physicians as needed.
- Performs routine and timely performance evlauations and provides constructive feedback to assigned non-physician staff. Administers disciplinary action as necessary in careful accordance to policy and documents appropriately in staff personnel file.
- Manages day to day office operations and monitors activities of assigned personnel. Determines staffing levels to meet operational requirements; maintains attendance records, authorizes overtime, processes leave requests and completes and processes payroll.
- Conducts staff meetings, maintains minutes, and plans and coordinates training programs as needed to maintain proficiency and safety of staff.
