Overview

Wasatch Medical Specialties provide mobile equipment and support for the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer. The Clinical Sales Representative's primary responsibility will be following up on leads, cold calling, prospecting, and building relationships that will increase account penetration, customer satisfaction, and positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities to include:
  • Case support for Cryoablation and Fusion Biopsy procedures
  • Follow up on leads, cold calling, prospecting, and building relationships will increase account penetration and customer satisfaction.
  • Must initiate and take ownership of the principles of territory management, including account planning, selling processes, post-sales implementation, and ongoing service and training support.
  • Arrange appointments, make presentations, organize conferences, and support and maintain positive arrangements with all clinicians and customers.
  • She/he must keep up with the latest clinical data supplied by the company and present and discuss this data with health professionals during presentations.
  • She/he must maintain detailed records of all contacts and progression through the sales funnel.
  • She/he will be required to attend company meetings and presentations.
  • They may be required to travel outside their geographical assignment and perform other duties as requested.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Experience selling into hospitals and clinics OR clinical support for cryo and/or fusion biopsy for prostate cancer.
  • Demonstrated track record of high performance in sales (territory growth, quota attainment, awards, promotions, etc.)
  • Must be able to learn and quickly master the product, specifications, and key performance advantages as they relate to clinical practice
  • Must be able to travel as needed within the territory
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and sufficient computer skills to maintain a sales database/relationship management system
  • Must have or be willing to update all immunizations to comply with hospital vendor requirements

Ideal Experience:
  • Experience working with urologists/radiologists and familiarity with medical imaging is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related health-care field

Territory Details:
  • NY/NJ- focused on current business in Manhattan and expanding from there.
  • Acceptable candidate locations: Newark, Hackensack, Hoboken, Jersey City, Yonkers, White Plains, New Rochelle, Westchester, NYC. Prefers candidates outside of Manhattan to have better reach in the rest of the territory.

Compensation:
  • Base salary: $80-100K
  • Commission / variable incentive: Uncapped
  • First-year earnings expectation: $125-175k+. High performers can hit $200k+
