The Flushing Hospital Department of Radiology offers a wide variety of advanced, state-of-the-art diagnostic and imaging services. Our medical team consists of highly qualified Board Certified and fellowship-trained professionals. The department is fully accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR), which signifies a higher quality examination and care. We are currently seeking a Radiology Manager for an immediate full-time opportunity.
Under the general direction of the Director of Radiology/Medical Imaging, the Radiology Manager will lead and manage the operational activities for the Radiology department. Monitoring flow, care, and safety of patients to ensure compliance with department procedures.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Under the general direction of the Director of Radiology/Medical Imaging, the Radiology Manager will lead and manage the operational activities for the Radiology department. Monitoring flow, care, and safety of patients to ensure compliance with department procedures.
DUTIES
- Developing, implementing, and overseeing department procedures to ensure efficient, accurate, and cost-effective delivery of imaging services.
- Scheduling procedures, and exams to maximize the use of staff and facilities.
- Monitoring, evaluating and modifying staffing patterns to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Managing and implementing appropriate data collection of information needed to monitor clinical, operational, and financial outcomes, as well as department QA/QC standards.
- Acting as a liaison between Radiology and other departments related to medical imaging initiatives and procedures.
- Facilitating in the preparation and planning of department budget.
- Monitoring operational budgets and implementing corrective action plans for negative productivity and operating expense variances.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and must be able to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to work well under pressure and on concurrent, multidisciplinary projects.
- Education - Grad of an Accredited Program.
- ARRT
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum of three (3) years leadership experience OR
- Minimum of 5 years leadership experience in the discipline.
- Must have license or certification in related imaging field.
