- Position Summary
- The Sr. Director - Entity Security is responsible to contribute to and translate system security strategy into tailored approaches that effectively deliver all facets of a comprehensive physical security program to assigned specialty areas.
The person selected for this role will provide leadership, direction, development, and supervision to direct reports; remove barriers to performance; conduct risk and threat assessments; implement mitigation approaches that are data-informed and risk-rationalized; develop Service Level Agreements; implement metric review and dashboard reporting; manage progress against goals; continuously improve operations; integrate effectively with peers representing other functional areas; and serve as a point of escalation to resolve any gaps in service delivery.

- Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Bachelor's degree required.
- License/Certifications: N/A.
- Experience: 10 years' management-level experience with program level responsibility in security management. 5 years' experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing tailored mitigation solutions.

- Experience in healthcare or higher education with knowledge of existing and emerging risk/threat factors, mitigating strategies, and the principles of trauma-informed care preferred.
- Prior experience with private sector security organizations or law enforcement agencies with a mission to safeguard people and assets of organizations of 50,000 people or more preferred.
- Experience publishing, broadcasting, and/or presenting to advance knowledge in security program management or workplace violence prevention preferred.
- Experience leading geographically dispersed teams in a matrixed organization preferred.
