Responsibilities:
- Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
- Participates in department and interdepartmental planning and management teams and works cross-functionally to improve processes within the organization.
- Confers with Project Director, Contractors and other engineers to clarify and resolve problems; prepares design modifications, as appropriate.
- Develops scope of work with clear tracking and addressing of scope changes.
- Prepares status reports and modifies schedules or plans as required.
- Ensures strict monitoring and adherence to budget allocation.
- As member of the project and work stream leader ensures and builds liaisons with other departments, functions and external organizations.
- Ability to clearly articulate and communicate with stakeholders and other team members.
- Coordinates project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies.
- Capable to identify and address contractor, OEM and vendor capabilities needed to accomplish project objectives.
- Balances planning efforts with day to day demands
- Analyzing survey reports, long-range plans, maps and other data to design new projects
- Considering budget, regulations and environmental hazards during planning and execution of the project.
- Forecasting design and construction timeline end to end of the project.
- Ensuring compliance of the project scope throughout the design and construction stages by ensuring the submissions and completion of all permit applications to the appropriate agencies.
- Leveraging contractors and capable to using design software to create project drawings and renderings
- Managing repair and maintenance of infrastructure projects
Essential:
- 10+ Years in FMCG or related Industry
- Operated at senior project manager level
- Capabilities and experience in large scale multi-disciplined projects
- Fulfilled a variety of engineering and supply chain projects with track record of delivery
- Project engineering / management experience
- Leadership skills in Civil Engineering with ability to handle complex multi-site projects
- Carrying the responsibility for project successes and providing strong direction for the teams
- Excellent communication and co-ordination skills (both verbal and written).
- Attained Professional Engineer Status
- Member of professional institution
- Capital Procurement experience is a plus point
