Position Title: Director, Channel Sales
Location: Remote
Reports To: SVP Client Development
Job Summary:
The Director of Channel Sales is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the channel sales strategy to achieve company sales objectives. This role will focus on driving revenue growth through the development and management of strategic partnerships and alliances with key channel partners. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in channel sales management and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Channel Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive channel sales strategy that aligns with the company's overall sales and business objectives.
Partner Recruitment and Development: Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners to expand the company's market reach. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing partners to drive mutual growth.
Performance Management: Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of channel partners. Implement performance improvement plans and strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
Training and Enablement: Provide ongoing training, support, and resources to channel partners to ensure they are well-equipped to sell and support the company's products and services.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment and support for channel partners.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions to identify opportunities and challenges in the channel sales environment.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a channel sales management role. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth through channel partnerships.
Skills:
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software and sales analytics tools.
o Ability to travel as needed.
Compensation
Annual Base Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 (depending on experience)
Performance-Based Incentives
Commission:
o 0.5% up to 74% of the target
o 0.75% on achieving 75% of the target
o 1% on achieving 100% of the target
o 1.1% on exceeding 110% of the target.
Commissions will be paid quarterly.
