Position Description
Voyager Space Exploration is seeking a Vice President of Business Execution to drive growth and ensure the successful execution of projects and initiatives across our programs. In this position, you will oversee the execution of critical support functions, aligning the actions of this department with company goals and timelines, and ensure effective coordination among cross-functional teams. You will collaborate with colleagues and partners, building effective relationships. Functions under Execution include Quality, Safety & Mission Assurance, AI&T, Technical Processes and Systems, Facilities & Compliance, and Procurement & Supply Chain. You will ensure that the activities of the Execution department align with Voyager Exploration's capabilities to meet current, emerging, and future needs of our customers.
Essential Duties
Strategic Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement, and participate in the development of strategic plans to achieve business objectives Oversee the execution of key projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals and timelines Monitor and report on the progress of strategic initiatives to senior leadership
Operations Execution Support & Enablement:
Effectively create, develop, improve, oversee, and maintain accountability for the business execution support departments and teams within the Business Execution department Areas of responsibility include Technical Execution, Technical Processes and Systems, Facilities and Compliance, Procurement and Supply Chain, and Contracts and Legal Lead the department to at all times deliver "Right the First Time" performance and on-time delivery by the areas this department supports Identify and proactively mitigate execution risks, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
General Management:
Build and maintain effective and cordial business relationships with other company leaders Develop, track, and report department performance metrics Adapt to adversity, overcome challenges, and improvise to enable the company to meet its goals Take initiative without specific direction to identify and correct issues, and to make proactive improvements according to the decision authority of this role Oversee, manage, and deliver the department budget

Physical Requirements
The work is sedentary, requiring low levels of physical activity. A candidate should be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. The employee will also need to discriminate sound at normal speaking levels without correction and can receive detailed information through oral communications.

Competencies
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field required.
- Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
- Required
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the Aerospace/National Security industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully executing complex business strategies and projects.
- Strong understanding of the aerospace market, including industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Ability to think strategically and drive innovation.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
- Preferred
- Experience with commercial spaceflight and space station operations.
- Knowledge of international aerospace markets and regulations.
- Strong network within the aerospace industry.
