JOB SUMMARY:
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- In collaboration with the administrative leader of the service line the Operations Administrator implements key components of operations for the department.
- This includes the direction of key strategic objectives related to access, throughput, work flow efficiency, patient experience and key compliance initiatives.
- Responsible for managing all departmental day to day activities and associated administrative and clinical tasks to promote effective and efficient operations.
- In collaboration with the Admininstrative Leader and Managers, this position oversees all business functions including, but not limited to: patient access, scheduling, revenue cycle operations, performance monitoring and reporting.
- This position is responsible for all accounts receivable and payable functions.
- Efforts support the delivery of the highest quality, most efficient and cost effective patient care possible in compliance with hospital policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
- On a regular and continuous basis, exercises administrative judgment and assumes responsibility for decisions, consequences, and results having an impact on people, costs, and/or quality of service within the Department.
- When assigned, serves as the acting administrative leader in the absence of the Administrative Leader
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in more than one discipline
- Master's prepared but can substitute work experience.
- 7 plus years of experience
- This position manages multiple LBH-at-risk service line practice locations;
- Acts as administrative liaison for for-profit practices within the service line, if applicable.
