About the Team

The adult outpatient clinic in Anchorage is made of a multi-disciplinary team who work together to provide comprehensive behavioral healthcare services to adults who experience mental health challenges or life stressors. Our clinicians treat a wide range of mental health needs, including grief and loss, addictions, relationships, trauma, serious mental illnesses (such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and depression) using evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing.

What You'll Do
  • Ensure staffing needs are met and assist HR with recruiting staff for the team
  • Develop clinical staff by displaying effective leadership abilities and acting as a role model
  • Facilitate meetings and hands-on training for the team and encourage professional development
  • Develop and implement program improvements and strategic plan initiatives
  • Support the provision of behavioral health services using evidenced-based practice
  • Evaluate crisis situations promptly and provide necessary services.

  • Full-Time, Exempt
  • Pay Range is between $85,637 to $110,828
  • AKBH offers generous benefits including two healthcare options for employees and their dependent children, 401k with immediate vesting and up to 5% match, 3% automatically contributed by AKBH, and 5 weeks of PTO for the first year, and 8 weeks of PTO after the first year.


What We Need from You
  • Requires a master's degree in mental health or related field, and professional license or certification is preferred.
  • Requires at least 5 years of experience in a clinical setting serving adults in who are seriously mentally ill and at least 3 years of experience in a position of relevant supervisory/program management responsibility.
