Lincoln Property Company is recruiting a senior level Corporate Controller for its Property Management division to be located in Dallas, TX

The management platform is designed to provide property management services on a pro-active basis throughout the life-cycle of assets under management. The Corporate Controller will play an essential role in the establishment and execution of all aspects of accounting, reporting, systems configuration and overall processes relating to financial management and integration with all related departments and functions at Lincoln Property Company.

We are looking for a senior level accounting professional with commercial property management experience and a proven track record regarding essential duties with respect to accounting, financial management and related functions of a highly developed property management platform.

Our processes are streamlined and intended to provide a wide range of full-service support to an integrated management platform that utilizes a high level of depth of experience and technology to deliver the highest level of service and performance to investors, team members and tenants.

Responsibilities:
  • Establishing and leading a team of accounting/financial professionals responsible for delivering
  • An optimum level of service to all related platform functions and customers.
  • Oversight and direction of accounting staff relating to day-to-day accounting/financial functions, reporting and interaction with related department staff at all levels of the organization. Your success will be a direct result of your ability and that of your team of accounting staff to both develop and efficiently execute all related functions and processes within the organization.
  • Your goal will be to recruit, train, motivate and direct individual team members in the execution of all duties in a timely and effective fashion while adapting in real-time.
  • It will be crucial that the successful candidate is able to act as a "working driver" with a hands-on approach. They will personally develop all key aspects of the property management accounting platform - particularly in the initial stages of development.
  • You will utilize our proprietary tools, sourced accounting and operating platforms to develop and integrate accounting and asset function that provide the highest level of customized analysis and reporting for our customer base.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of an undergraduate degree in accounting, finance or related educational background. Masters Degree (Preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior level accounting/finance position in the field of residential property management.
  • Real-time experience with respect to developing and implementing efficient accounting, financial and reporting platforms.
  • Solid track record with respect to recruiting, training and effective leadership of a team of accounting/financial professionals.
  • Pro-active, hands on experience with respect to supervision of a team of accounting professionals.
  • Able to exhibit a proven track record with respect to goal achievement, adherence to planned time frames and urgency of execution of all related tasks and initiatives.
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with a wide range of highly experienced peers and principals.
  • Institutional experience with a diverse range of owners/investors that have high levels of expectation.
  • Direct interaction and focused service to senior level owners and asset managers.
  • Experience and knowledge with respect to accounting and management software platforms - Yardi and related platforms a desirable plus.
  • Successful track record with respect to prioritizing multiple initiatives - including rapid execution and sense of urgency regarding completion of key tasks within set timeframes.
  • Strong work ethic, value system, high level of adaptability and team orientation.
