LOCATION: Jupiter, FL Area

Job Summary
Build and lead the Product Engineering team responsible for the development and design of advanced aerospace aftermarket parts, in collaboration with internal and external vendors. The team will be comprised of product definition, engine systems, testing, structures and aerothermal engineers, and work closely together with the Manufacturing & Supply Chain team. The responsibilities include designing selected aerospace hot section parts, and developing a capable vendor base.

Minimum Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree
Skills/Experience
- 12+ years of experience in advanced aerospace hot section airfoil design, materials and manufacturing processes
- 10+ years of applicable experience in the aerospace industry or related manufacturing/repair environment
- 8+ years of team leadership or project management experience
- Demonstrated expert knowledge of jet engine materials and processing
- Understanding of jet engine airfoil component design and operation
- Understanding of technical drawings, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD & T), industrial and material specifications
- Experience working with external supply chain, including advanced casting, machining and coating vendors (domestic and international)
- Must be self-motivated and possess a demonstrated ability to handle multiple issues in a responsive and decisive manner
- Must be a detail-oriented, high energy, self-starter with the ability to drive the successful completion of projects within specified time frames
- Proficiency with MS office Professional (Word, Excel, Access & PowerPoint)
- Strong written and oral communication skills required
- Process and Team-oriented; able to work with a diverse workforce
- Trustworthy, quick learning, innovative and reliable
- Willing and able to travel as required
