.NET Developer with Application Insights
Location: Remote
We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer with a strong background in using Azure Application Insights, particularly in Availability Testing using Track Availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications, ensuring they meet functional and non-functional requirements.
Monitoring & Diagnostics: Implement and configure Azure Application Insights to monitor application performance, track exceptions, and ensure high availability.
Availability Testing: Set up and manage Availability Tests using Track Availability in Application Insights, creating custom web tests to monitor the uptime and responsiveness of critical endpoints.
Performance Optimization: Analyze performance data and troubleshoot issues using insights from Application Insights, recommending and implementing improvements.
Integration: Work closely with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and backend teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of applications.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of implemented solutions, configurations, and test results. Generate reports on availability and performance metrics.
Required Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
o Proven experience in .NET development, including C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and Web API.
o Strong knowledge of Azure Application Insights, particularly in setting up and configuring Availability Tests.
o Experience with other Azure services such as Azure Monitor, Azure DevOps, and Azure Functions is a plus.
Tools & Technologies:
o Familiarity with HTTP protocols, web services, and REST APIs.
o Experience with cloud-based application deployment and monitoring.
o Proficiency in using Visual Studio, Git, and other development tools.
Soft Skills:
o Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
o Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
o Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., Angular, React) and their integration with .NET backends.
Microsoft certifications related to .NET and Azure are a plus.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
