Job Description
(U) Responsibilities include design, assembly, and testing of electronic hardware. Requires competence in advanced digital communications technology as currently in commercial practice, possess some knowledge of network hardware and software. Fabricating audio equipment in accordance with plans, specifications and schematics including constructing, assembling, arranging, mounting, or wiring electronic parts and components. Diagnosing operation errors and malfunctions to ensure equipment operates within prescribed standards. Performing preventative and corrective maintenance to keep equipment and systems in reliable condition.
Required Skills and Education
Strong communications skills with a mission focused, flexible, and innovative personality are essential to success in this position. The ability to accept and accommodate dynamic technical mission requirements is a must.
The position shall require a two-year accredited technical degree or 2-10+ years of experience of related experience
Requires advanced experience and competence in digital audio technologies and techniques.
Candidates must be able to perform technical work in non-optimal locations and conditions, often under short time constraints.
