Job Description
Blue Water Thinking is seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Analyst to join our team, supporting a program at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This role will support the corporate/administrative arm of VA. The primary responsibility is to support activities throughout the Program/project management skill-building process from needs analysis and curriculum development through design, delivery, and training.

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The proposed salary range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000.

Job Description
Blue Water Thinking is seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Analyst to join our team, supporting a program at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This role will support the corporate/administrative arm of VA. The primary responsibility is to support activities throughout the Program/project management skill-building process from needs analysis and curriculum development through design, delivery, and training.
Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional design and training support including stakeholder coordination, skills building needs analysis, training module development, training delivery, and tracking feedback/lessons learned.
- Design graphics and prepare content for training modules and other instructional materials.
- Review documentation and provide technical writing support, ensuring consistency with VA's branding and style guidelines.
- Support contract administration activities including tracking projects, milestones, and deliverables, preparing status reports, maintaining SharePoint, tracking issues, risks, and decisions, and collecting lessons learned.
- Provide cross-functional support to the Project Lead in planning and executing project activities.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and capturing meeting minutes.
- Prepare briefing decks, progress reports, and other leadership communication materials.
- Conduct analysis and prepare analytical reports for management as needed.
- Review and recommend process improvements to optimize project delivery.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Analytics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a related role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with instructional design and/or training.
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (e.g., Blackboard), Adobe Creative Suite, and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with federal contracting procedures, particularly with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Eligibility:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role.
