The Art Director will lead all ideation, conception, and execution of all ONE/SIZE brand assets and serve as our creative steward to ensure cohesive and impactful visual storytelling. With a passion for design and the creative development process, the Art Director will lead and develop a talented and creative team to execute our creative project pipeline, delivering all brand-owned marketing and promotional campaigns to drive business growth.
A creative leader and operator, the position requires the ability to serve as a thought partner and be a breakthrough creative while rolling up your sleeves to work alongside our creative team as a player-coach.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Lead all creative projects and strategies from concept generation to creative execution, online to offline, across our brand touchpoints.
- Lead all creative efforts and outputs across our business, including product and packaging design, 3D visual merchandising design, digital design of assets, campaign production and execution, and brand design, serving as the creative steward of our brand's visual identity along the customer journey.
- Develop, lead, and inspire our internal creative team to execute creative projects at a high level of excellence and productivity.
- Set the standards for creative excellence across our consumer touchpoints: editorial campaign assets, packaging design, visual merchandising, digital advertising, digital assets, and social assets and content.
- Set the strategy and direction for creative campaigns and content shoots to support ONE/SIZE product launches and animations, ensuring successful content deliverables on time and on budget.
- Drive creative strategy and execution with a digital-first mindset, creating a holistic digital creative that can be dispersed into various mediums and translated across all touch points of the company.
- Manage, update, and maintain our brand style guide as it evolves with the business.
- Lead and develop creative team and organization design while continuing to up-skill function.
- Ensure that creative resources are in place to carry out the business plan, including partnerships with agencies
- Must be able to concept, storytelling, and create decks, and mood boards, for new launches and campaigns.
- Must be able to work collaboratively across the creative journey with photographers, videographers, prop stylists, producers, models, and influencers to oversee a photoshoot or video production.
- Serve as UX/UI Design lead for our growing D2C website and business, supporting in the production and designing digital needs such as website collateral, digital media assets, social media graphics, and more.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years working as a creative professional and at least 3+ years working in packaging, digital, and visual merchandising design.
- Track record of success in high-volume, deadline-driven creative environments, preferably at least 3 years working within the beauty space
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present creative concepts and budgets to executive teams clearly and effectively.
- Strong project management competencies, with meticulous organization and attention to detail in managing creative projects and workflows.
- Acute business sense, with an understanding of how to leverage creativity to drive business results.
- Highly developed design sense and desire to produce elevated, brand-building, and innovative work.
- Active learner - staying ahead of the industry, design, social media trends, and technology.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects from concept to completion under varying time constraints.
- Excellent type/design skills and conceptual design skills.
- Possesses an excellent knowledge of design software - including In-Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects.
- B.A. and M.A. in Graphic Design or fine art.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Lifting: Exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
- Reaching: Extending hands and arms in any direction.
