REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF PROVIDER SERVICES POSITION SUMMARY

The Provider Services Director is responsible for the direction and leadership of operational, programmatic, and financial related activities for the offsite provider network statewide. The Provider Services Director is responsible for assisting with the development, management, and performance of the network of preferred providers, in addition to non-par providers. The Director will align with operations and ensure the access to specialists statewide to ensure all patient needs are met and treated with respect and compassion.

REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF PROVIDER SERVICES SCHEDULE
  • Full-Time

REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF PROVIDER SERVICES MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience managing provider networks and understanding of contract negotiation and provider performance management.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare operations and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with providers.
  • Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial performance.
  • Ability to strategically plan and align operations with organizational goals.
  • Familiarity with statewide healthcare systems and the ability to ensure access to care across a large geographical area.


REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF PROVIDER SERVICESESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Scheduling clinics on-site at MI DOC facilities statewide with provider network
  • Monitoring operational flows and processes of clinics to ensure regulatory compliance and efficiency
  • Facilitate multiple meetings with vendors statewide
  • Identify and Resolve barriers to patient care
  • Communicate with the MDOC for problematic resolution of barriers
  • Communicate with healthcare systems and physicians for optimal operational process flows for the MDOC, VitalCore, and the vendor
  • Monitor telehealth clinics operational flow for optimal utilization and compliance
  • Work in partnership with VitalCore cooperate team for contract completion and implementation of new vendors and providers
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Maintain professionalism during meetings, emails, and in-person communication with all parties involved
  • Connect and resolve claims questions and/or concerns with provider network
  • Occasional tours of facilities are required on a case-by-case basis and is not required regularly.
  • Other Duties as Assigned
