Job Summary
The Information Security Manager is a senior level working position who assumes responsibility for the daily operation management and supervision of team members in Information Security. This position establishes internal team priorities, work content, and goals to achieve these priorities. Work is evaluated based on results achieved toward established goals and priorities, timeliness, and demonstration of sound judgment and efficient use of resources.
This responsibility covers management of all security management functions within the assigned area of Information Security. This position is also charged with taking all necessary steps to leverage the investment in the application(s) and technology in their area through identifying opportunities to maximize quality and efficiency of system, application and/or technology usage.

In this role you will...
- Plan, direct, and coordinate the strategic development, implementation, deployment and operation of information security solutions that meet organizational initiatives and strategies.
- Develop and drive cost efficiencies within our information security services and project delivery.
- Mentor and develop employees.
- Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
- Directs research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.
- Recommends information security strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
- Accomplishes financial and budget objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards and key performance metrics.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
- Challenges others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and mentor.
- Initiates and implements improvements in all areas of responsibility.

- Proficiency or familiarity with administering and leveraging security software and processes in the areas of data loss prevention, event log analysis, endpoint detection and response, endpoint protection, privileged access management, and vulnerability management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity or Computer Science or Equivalent Education preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant Cybersecurity experience required.
- 3+ years of relevant Cybersecurity leadership experience preferred.
