One of the top EP programs in the country is seeking a patient-access focused Electrophysiologist to join our established and compassionate Cardiology team at IU Health Academic Health Center in Indianapolis, IN!

IUHP Cardiology is an established practice with 50 physicians and more than 30 Advanced Providers recognized for their expertise in the full range of heart disease. A full range of cardiac treatments from prevention and population health to implanted heart-assist devices and cardiac transplantation is offered at the IU Health Academic Health Center. The EP service provides a full array of services from device implants to complex endocardial and epicardial ablations, hybrid procedures and lead extractions.We have established cardiology practices in the North, South and West suburbs of Indianapolis offering services locally and providing referrals for advanced procedures, and a statewide network of 15 hospitals. As Indiana's leading health system dedicated to improving the health and wellness of Hoosiers, we have a growing need for EP services at the AHC. Consider joining our team.

Position Details:
  • Full time, Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiologist
  • Must be ABIM CCEP board certified (or eligible if recently finished training)
  • Academic appointment at IU School of Medicine commensurate with experience.
  • Serve as a key faculty member of the ACGME approved CCEP fellowship training program
  • Participation in clinical research is encouraged
  • On call rotation shared with large group of Cardiologists
  • Referrals from the largest primary care and specialty care practice in Indiana
  • Both inpatient and outpatient duties
  • Experience in performing complex electrophysiology procedures and device implantation/follow up
  • Experience with Lead Extractions is a plus
