Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and team-oriented Technical Product Manager to be an integral member on the development of current and upcoming projects and enhancements to Fluor's supply chain analytics portal. As a Technical Product Manager, your responsibility will be to execute the product vision by focusing on the engineering and design aspects.
Basic Job Requirements
You'll have strong hands-on experience in Java Spring and Spring Boot enterprise applications and will use cutting-edge front-end frameworks. Your work will entail Agile, User-Centric Full Stack development through hands-on backend services and API development using Java Spring Boot, REST JSON, RDBMS database (MS SQL Server), and Tomcat.
You should also have experience with EPC Engineering & Supply Chain to better understand the product needs and to work with Supply Chain leadership. You will be required to make decisions on which features to add or revise for new product version and analyze data from market research. You will conduct beta tests and determine potential product issues and necessary fixes. You will also meet with product managers, product owners and other product leaders to discuss product development progress.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands on experience developing front end & orchestration layers' technologies: AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML 5, and CSS.
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Good leadership and decision-making skills
Other Job Requirements
Expertise in Java and Object-Oriented Design and development principles (e.g. XML, JSON)
Hands on experience with one or more ORM libraries such as Hibernate
Hands on experience with one or more relational database systems (e.g., MS SQL Server, DB2) and developing complex SQLs
Hands on experience with one or more build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle, Bamboo).
Hands on experience with Software Source Code Management tools (e.g. Git)
Knowledge of full Software Development Life Cycle SDLC
Designed and coded application components in an Agile methodology, familiar with a test driven development.
