As a full-time Payor Contracting & Credentialing Manager you will play a pivotal role in managing the credentialing personnel and payor contracting processes for the practice. Responsibilities will involve overseeing the timely completion of all provider/facility credentialing and coordinating the review and updates of all payor contracts.

What you'll get to do:
  • Execute projects for the payor contracting team
  • Ensures that all payor contracts are reviewed and updated in a timely manner
  • Negotiate general terms and reimbursement fee schedule of payor contracts
  • Works directly with President and CEO and proactively alerts appropriate department directors and billing company regarding contract renewals and terminations.
  • Oversees accurate and up-to-date credentialing databases and maintains contracting databases.
  • Manages Daytona Division physicians' professional memberships and subscriptions
  • Collaborates with credentialing specialists in overseeing the credentialing process with new providers, hospitals and payors as required
  • Oversees accurate and up-to-date credentialing databases and maintains contracting databases.
  • Approves certain physician expenses for corporate reimbursement as required.
  • Provides mentorship to credentialing specialists. Assists with orientation of staff and provides direction to department resources.
  • Works effectively with multiple departments while maintaining privacy and confidentiality.

What you will need to be successful:
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent education/experience.
  • 5+ years experience in provider credentialing and payor contracting (preferably in a large group practice setting.
  • CPCS and/or CPCSM a plus
  • Intermediate computer skill and navigation ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Performs well under pressure with a strong sense of urgency
