The Director of Franchise Portfolio Management (CNS) at Azurity plays a crucial role in managing and executing the CNS product portfolio. This role focuses on implementing strategic plans, overseeing the development and lifecycle of CNS products, and ensuring that the portfolio aligns with Azurity's financial and market objectives. The Director will support the VP in managing product ideation, development, and lifecycle processes, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive execution and achieve franchise targets. Additionally, the Director assists the VP in coordinating with other Franchise Portfolio VPs to consolidate portfolio views and generate performance insights.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain strong expertise in the CNS franchise through targeted research, competitive intelligence, and engagement with market and customer insights.
  • Assist in ideating and selecting products with well-defined Target Product Profiles (TPPs) for the pipeline, while ensuring they support a diverse and compelling development portfolio.
  • Facilitate the advancement of R&D projects within the CNS franchise, from initial development through to successful market launch, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Oversee product enhancements and line extensions after market introduction, and plan for phase-outs and support withdrawal as products reach end-of-life.
  • Support Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process through all stages, and coordinate with relevant cross-functional teams to meet stage-gate criteria and timelines and recommend product discontinuations when needed.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans for the CNS franchise, including managing mature assets and ensuring continued revenue growth.
  • Work with the business development team to identify and integrate external assets that enhance the internal portfolio and strengthen product offerings.
  • Collaborate with other franchise portfolio management teams to provide a unified view of the Azurity portfolio, contributing to consolidated insights and strategy.
  • Generate and present portfolio insights that align with the organization's long-term plans, assisting senior leadership in performance tracking and strategic decision-making.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners to leverage new technologies and enhance the portfolio's development opportunities.
  • Mentor and support the professional growth of portfolio managers/analysts within the CNS team, providing guidance and development opportunities.
  • Support efforts to refine and improve portfolio management processes and tools, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in managing the CNS portfolio.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
  • Experience in implementing strategic plans and managing portfolios within the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in CNS.
  • Expertise in primary and secondary market research to develop and test Target Product Profiles (TPPs)
  • Proven ability to support the management of product lifecycles, including development, launch, and phase-outs.
  • Ability to analyze customer insights and data to support effective franchise strategy execution.
  • Experience working within cross-functional teams to drive project execution and meet objectives.
  • Familiarity with CNS therapeutic areas and pharmaceutical drug development and commercialization.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Deep understanding of sales forecasting and financial modeling.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., PharmD, MBA) preferred.
