Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking an individual contributor in the field of Electronic Warfare (EW) systems to join a growing dynamic group of engineers developing leading edge capabilities in Active and Passive Sensing. You will be a technical member of the Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) Systems Engineering Group that is responsible for engineering staff and test resources for the execution of design, development, integration, implementation, test, and verification/validation of EW systems across multiple business areas. As an individual engineer level contributor, you will be responsible for and support technologies on next-generation military/commercial applications. You will also perform, delivering technical value, in the role of a Systems Engineer, for programs ranging from developing prototypes, full rate production, and sustainment of systems. As a technical contributor, you will work with other engineering staff members to grow and capture our knowledge through engineering changes, lessons learned and product/process improvements in your area(s) of expertise.

Required Skills and Education
US Citizen with active Secret clearance
BS in EE, Physics, Systems or equivalent plus 2 years' experience in field
Understanding of the applications of active and passive sensing in the Electronic Warfare (EW) field
Understanding of automated language processing concepts and implementation strategies
Experience working & contributing independently and interacting effectively with other technical teams to achieve product and process technical goals

Preferred Skills and Education
RF theory and wireless communication experience
Knowledge of Systems Engineering and life cycle processes stages (such as waterfall, spiral, agile/scrum and Vee) and process milestone execution decision gating reviews
Experience supporting inter and multidisciplinary teams consisting of mechanical, electrical, software, and systems engineers
