Director of Facilities Management
The Facilities Director is responsible for maintaining the buildings, equipment, and mechanical systems at the multiple HopeWest business locations that include both owned and leased properties. Two locations include programs that have a requirement for health care facility life safety and require the Facilities Director to have a working knowledge of what is needed and to maintain up-to-date documentation. This position will interact with many staff and leaders of the organization and will demonstrate excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. The Facilities Director also interacts with many vendors, setting up agreement and assuring that work is completed accurately and efficiently. This position serves as the Safety Officer and provides leadership for Emergency Preparedness, two locations have programs that must comply with CMS requirements for health care facility life safety standards. As such, the Facilities Director needs to be well-versed in these requirements and ensure that all documentation is current. This position is part of the HopeWest Manager/Leader team which meets regularly for education, planning, and updates.

Success Metrics:
- Building inspections are completed on time and documented. Timely follow up occurs if issued identified.
- Life Safety preventative maintenance tasks are completed monthly as scheduled.
- Fire drills are completed quarterly with documentation that is survey ready.
- Keeps SDS information updated for the current inventory of chemicals in use.
- Leads annual Hazard Vulnerability Assessment (HVA) and drills for emergency preparedness. Works with other leaders to assure all emergency preparedness conditions of participation are met.
- Assures quarterly safety training addressed current issues and is ready for all team members throughout the organization.
Requirements, Pay and Benefits:
- Experience leading facilities management in a healthcare setting required.
- College degree or licensed in a trade preferred
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and extensive experience in general computer usage including word processing database management and spreadsheets.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Annual salary range of $77,376 - $94,224 depending on experience and education.
- Mileage reimbursement of 60cents/mile for work related driving
