Pain Interventionalist with Partnership Track Opportunity in Richmond, VA
OrthoVirginia, a physician owned/led group with over 40 clinical locations across Virginia, is seeking an Interventional Pain Specialist to join our busy multidisciplinary practice in the Richmond, VA area. This candidate will work in a procedure suite housed in a new, state-of-the-art facility in the Richmond area. Board eligibility/certification in anesthesiology or physiatry is required.
This position will see non-surgical patients with pain complaints as well as pre- and post-surgical patients. In addition, this position will require seeing non-interventional spine patients and other acute and subacute musculoskeletal patients. The successful candidate for this position is expected to work closely with spine surgeons and other physicians in the practice.

Procedures this provider would commonly perform include:
- Trigger point injections (medicine into the muscle)
- Joint injections (often includes steroid component)
- Nerve blocks
- Epidural steroid injections (for nerve related pain)
- Medial branch block and radiofrequency ablation (RFA) (for pain due to arthritis)
- Kyphoplasty (for fractures of the vertebra)
- Spinal cord stimulation (an advanced form of therapy when injections/medications/surgery have not provided relief)
