Role
The Senior Product Manager, Data & Reporting will play a pivotal role in establishing the long-term product vision, strategy and roadmap, and near-term priorities for the OneShield data and reporting products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, with a proven track record of successfully leading data and reporting product initiatives from concept to launch. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to drive product success.

Job Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with company goals and market demands.
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Use this data to inform product decisions and strategy.
- Roadmap Development: Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap that outlines short-term and long-term goals and milestones.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the owner and voice for your product area across the company and externally, sharing strategy and roadmap, key insights, and escalating issues with senior leadership, customers, product management peers, and other stakeholders.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including planning, development, testing, and post-launch evaluation within agreed upon timelines.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.
- Customer Focus: Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring that products meet or exceed customer expectations and deliver a superior user experience.
- Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Desired Technical Skills
- Experience with software development life cycles SDLC and agile methodologies.
- Experience in writing user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and process flow diagrams.
- Experience with user interface and user experience concepts, including using tooling to create mockups/wireframes.
- Experience with ETL processes and ensuring high quality, performant data warehousing.
- Experience working with reporting tooling, e.g. Power BI, Tableau.
- Understanding of project management principles, practices, and tooling, including experience utilizing a software project development tool, e.g., Jira.
- Exposure to any development language, preferably Java or SQL.
- Exposure to complex technology implementations, including multiple integration points.
- Exposure to configuration-based development is a plus.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- 7+ years of experience, including 3+ years in a product manager role.
- Experience in a product centric B2B software company.
- Experience in the P&C insurance domain.
- Experience working with reporting tooling, e.g. Power BI, Tableau.
