As s a Lead Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading our engineering team alongside of our product and analytics teams to develop highly scalable, high quality data products using engineering best practices. What You'll Do
- Provide technical leadership to design, develop data and analytics engineering platforms to create large scale data products while delivering code yourself.
- You will synthesize the technical expertise of the team to create understandable features and engineering architectures aligned with product roadmap.
- You will leverage your technical expertise to focus the abilities and development of the team.
- You will uphold the integrity of our data using real-time monitoring and observability techniques.
- You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and research team.
- You will be driving product release using continuous delivery methodologies and data driven goals.
Who You Are
- You have 7+ years as software engineer, 4+ years specifically in data engineering.
- Expert-level SQL, strong proficiency with Python.
- 2+ years' experience with Snowflake and its utilization on large (TB+) datasets.
- Experience with Airflow or similar orchestration platforms.
- Fluency with AWS ecosystem especially in delivery via infrastructure as code, gitops.
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You have experience with Lean and Agile development methodologies (such as Kanban or SCRUM).
