Position Summary

The Natural Gas Scheduler/Marketing Analyst works under general supervision to perform a variety of marketing assignments, primarily ensuring the accuracy of allocations on pipelines, confirming and balancing flow volumes with purchasers. The individual verifies invoices and purchaser settlement statements. May oversee and maintain marketing software system and contract files.

Essential Roles & Responsibilities
  • Nominates, allocates, confirms and balance flow volumes with purchasers, pipelines and well owners
  • Communicates with field personnel to gather information, calculate, and report various transactions
  • Determines volumes available for sale each month
  • Schedules volumes daily with pipelines or trucking companies
  • Evaluates and reduces pipeline imbalances and inventory
  • Maintains contract listings and OpenText file database
  • Tracks and evaluates pipeline maintenance schedules for impact on flow
  • Prepares volume and pricing forecasts and other reports and analyses as needed
  • Prepares monthly revenue accruals and communicates with Revenue Accounting
  • Has a basic ability to analyze and maintain data in EMK3 system
  • Prepares monthly sales invoices via EMK3
  • Resolves issues and answers questions pertaining to scheduling
  • Identifies basic issues and develops, recommends, and implements solutions to maximize performance and effective delivery
  • Conducts business safely and with the highest ethical standards
  • Other duties as assigned

Computer/Software Applications

Basic level of skill and familiarity with Microsoft Office. Basic knowledge of company specific software and related applications including EMK3, AVM and other proprietary systems.

Role-Specific Technical Knowledge & Skills

Demonstrates basic understanding of flow volumes and general marketing knowledge. Basic knowledge and understanding of patterns, correlations, and trends to support decisions.

Typical Education:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering or other relevant field required.

Typical Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry.

Schedule: Hybrid. In the office Tuesday-Thursday, with opportunity to work remote Monday and Friday. On call to handle nomination changes (if any) every other weekend.

Salary Range: 82,400.00 To 113,300.00 (USD) Annually
