Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. Job Description
Title - PL/SQL Developer
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain database objects including tables views indexes and stored procedures using Oracle and PL/SQL.
- Develop complex SQL queries and optimize them for performance. - Implement data models and database designs ensuring data integrity and security.Performance Tuning and Optimization
- Monitor and assess database performance identifying and resolving bottlenecks and performance issues. - Optimize database queries and PL/SQL code for maximum efficiency. - Conduct regular performance tuning and database optimization tasks.
- Perform data extraction transformation and loading (ETL) processes. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues.
- Collaboration and Documentation- Collaborate with application developers business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand requirements. - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for database structures processes and procedures. - Provide training and support to team members on database-related topics.
- Innovation and Improvement- Stay updated with the latest Oracle and PL/SQL technologies and best practices. - Evaluate and implement new tools and methodologies to improve database development and management. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of database processes and standards.
- 6 years of experience in database development with a focus on Oracle and PL/SQL.
- Proven experience in designing and developing complex database systems.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Oracle Database PL/SQL and SQL. - Strong understanding of database design principles normalization and indexing. - Experience with performance tuning query optimization and troubleshooting. -
- Familiarity with data modeling tools and ETL processes.-
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. -
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and dynamic environment
