Job Description

Title - PL/SQL Developer

Key Responsibilities
  • Design develop and maintain database objects including tables views indexes and stored procedures using Oracle and PL/SQL.
  • Develop complex SQL queries and optimize them for performance. - Implement data models and database designs ensuring data integrity and security.Performance Tuning and Optimization
  • Monitor and assess database performance identifying and resolving bottlenecks and performance issues. - Optimize database queries and PL/SQL code for maximum efficiency. - Conduct regular performance tuning and database optimization tasks.
  • Perform data extraction transformation and loading (ETL) processes. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues.
  • Collaboration and Documentation- Collaborate with application developers business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand requirements. - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for database structures processes and procedures. - Provide training and support to team members on database-related topics.
  • Innovation and Improvement- Stay updated with the latest Oracle and PL/SQL technologies and best practices. - Evaluate and implement new tools and methodologies to improve database development and management. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of database processes and standards.
  • 6 years of experience in database development with a focus on Oracle and PL/SQL.
  • Proven experience in designing and developing complex database systems.

Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Oracle Database PL/SQL and SQL. - Strong understanding of database design principles normalization and indexing. - Experience with performance tuning query optimization and troubleshooting. -
  • Familiarity with data modeling tools and ETL processes.-
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. -
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and dynamic environment

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
