Job Description
The Site Security Manager (SSM)/Assistant Project Coordinator (APC) is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the security of construction/renovation projects within the organization. The incumbent will coordinate project-related activities, represent the organization on security matters, and guarantee compliance with ICD 705 and DoDM 5105.21 standards. This position requires a strong understanding of security protocols, project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Experience and Skills
TS/SCI clearance REQUIRED
Minimum 5 years of experience in ICD 705 compliant construction projects.
In-depth knowledge of ICD 705 requirements and associated Technical Specifications.
Completion of Site Security Manager (SSM) training and/or certification.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Project Management Professional (PMP) credential preferred.
College degree preferred.
Working Conditions:
Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach
Able to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the designated SSM for construction/renovation projects in accordance with ICD 705 and DoDM 5105.21.
- Represent the organization on all security matters related to construction/renovation to construction firms and the Accrediting Official (AO).
- Participate in project meetings, reviews, and design sessions to ensure project security.
- Conduct design reviews to verify compliance with ICD 705 requirements and secure accreditation standards.
- Inspect construction/renovation sites to ensure adherence to ICD 705 standards.
- Perform initial and subsequent risk assessments as directed.
- Assemble and submit required security documentation, including CSPs, PCCs, FFCs, TEMPEST addenda, and waiver requests. Maintain and update security documentation as needed.
- Implement CSPs and maintain security integrity of construction sites.
- Develop and implement access control procedures.
- Establish and maintain security files, including work schedules, worker information, access records, and security incident reports.
- Conduct 24-hour security inspections to ensure compliance with CSPs.
- Develop and assist in implementing move-out and move-in plans.
- Coordinate alternate workspace arrangements for affected personnel during construction/renovation.
- Research and draft a command space management instruction.
- Perform ad hoc tasks related to site security, administrative management, and space management support functions.
