Sr. Data Analyst, Mainspring Management, LLC, Overland Park, KS
Duties: Under direction of the C level executives of the company, analyze KPIs of the company including number of active customers, number of eligible or potential customers to market to, Active Principal, Delinquency/Defaults, Production trends, etc and develop data to guide stakeholders and decisionmakers. Analyze technical systems which produce CRM, ACH transactions tools, Lead purchase tools, Communication/Telephony systems, etc. Coordinate department budget for data storage and analysis tools needed for data analysis, such as BI tools and database systems. Project and analyze growth of data related to the company for business operation planning. Work with managers/stakeholders of individual departments of the company to organize and analyze business data. Develop reporting systems that monitor company KPIs to aid leadership in directing the business. Build and maintain databases, including a SQL server and Quickbase to collect and mine data for business tracking. Work with third-party vendors' technical teams to implement changes in database, reporting, data refresh, creating new data points, and other changes for business needs. Integrate current systems with open-source tools including R programming to handle large amounts of data that cannot be handled by excel. Analyze the vast amount of financial data using open-source coding tools like R. Build R codes for different use cases. Build machine learning/predictive models on customer data to identify data point/ factors causing high loan default / delinquency, Sales and conversion percentages etc. Use data analytic software including R programming, SQL, Microsoft PowerBI, and Advanced excel to analyze the data and construct dashboards and instant reports, including predictive modeling graphs and visual analysis plot in R programming. Create implementation plan for business data, including building data tools, analysis of data, implementation, and monitoring reports. Assist the development team in utilizing database schema and data variables, Apis, connectors, and similar when building new software applications for the company. Research and develop alternate technologies for PowerBi and Quickbase to reduce costs. Create a centralized database for live reporting through alternate open-source technologies like Java-SQL and VSCode. Direct migration from traditional relational databases like SQL to Quick reporting databases like MongoDb.
Requirements: A Master's degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, Economics, or related field, plus 4 years of related experience. Requires experience working with each of the following: R programming, Excel, Power BI, SQL, Quickbase, Statistical Analysis, A/B testing, Machine Learning, and Descriptive and Predictive Analytics.
